Fresh new look, same great marketing program

2014 marks Restaurant.com’s 15 year anniversary. While the quality of our product has continued to drive diners into restaurant’s doors throughout the years, our certificates were beginning to show their age. What better time than now to introduce an appealing, new look to something that is used daily by customers dining at your restaurant? You heard right. Restaurant.com has recently revamped our Gift Certificates with a sleek new look.

You’ll notice how the how the appearance of the certificate has changed (i.e. easier to read, larger certificate amount, etc). Our new easy to read format with a simplified layout is more user friendly for both staff and customers alike. The font size for your restaurant has increased and the minimum spend (and any restrictions) are clearly stated directly below the certificate value amount. Validation is still the same — the phone number is listed in the blue section of the certificate and the certificate number is printed near the denomination amount (you will see that the certificate number has also increased from eight to nine digits). Please note that the mobile certificates, which can be validated directly on diners’ smartphone, will remain the same.

  • Easy for servers to validate
  • All validation information (including ratings, reviews, customer email addresses and data about your progress on the program) can all be found in the Restaurant.com Management Center

Soon you will begin to see the new certificates presented by diners, but be aware that the former certificates are still out there. Customers who have previously printed these will still present these to your staff. Make sure you alert your staff to still accept both certificates – new design and the previous version.
